Joh 19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
The Thirst of Jesus Christ on the Cross Reveals several connotations:
Ps 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Application: Ability to relate to humanity
Heb 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Ps 42:2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
Joh 4:32 But he said unto them, I have meat to
eat that ye know not of.
Satisfy your thirst for God, fellowship with Him.
