"Thy heart is not right in the sight of God" Acts 8:21
The heart is the man. It is the seat of all spiritual life, and health, and strength, and growth.

The heart is the place which God looks to know the condition of a person
1Sa 16:7 "But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart."
Men kid themselves because they do not ponder their hearts.

their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is
